Tour the original Damascus Grade School, the Pearce House Museum, the Quaker Meetinghouse, and the Quaker Grade School.  Be sure to also visit the Delzell Barn, a two-story carriage barn that the John Delzell family built for their horses.  It is one of the last barns in Damascus that has not been altered to accommodate an automobile. This building was donated to the Historical Society in 1993. The long-range plan has been for the barn to be used for displays of antique farm equipment and accessories but a shortage of funds for restoration has delayed fulfillment of that desire.  Part of that dream has now been realized with the recent connection of electricity to the barn.
