EARLY DAMASCUS SETTLERS: 1808-1865
Vignettes about our early settlers, (including Anthony
Morris, John Butler, and James B. Bruff) will be
presented by Barbara Hemmingsen.
Now of California, Barbara Hemmingsen is a retired
college professor who is a descendent of Bruff’s. She
will share stories and mementos from when the village
was first established.
She will be speaking on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Sunday
at 1:00 p.m. at the Pearce House community room.
